The chain offers wood-fired pizza in a casual atmosphere, with craft beers and wines available by the glass.
The Warren County Regional Planning Commission is scheduled to consider an application Thursday that proposes a new two-tenant 6,800-square-foot building to be built at 9640 Mason-Montgomery Road at Merten Drive in Deerfield Twp., at a site where a Burger King is now operating.
The proposal calls for a franchisee for Brixx Wood Fired Pizza to open the Charlotte, N.C.-based chain’s first location in Ohio in 4,000 square feet of the new building, according to DDN.
Robert Ware, senior planner for the Warren County Regional Planning Commission, said the commission will make a recommendation to the Deerfield Twp. Board of Trustees, which has the final say on the project.
Gavin O’Neill, who represents the franchise owner, today confirmed the application and said his group hopes to open additional Brixx locations in southwest Ohio. But O’Neill said the Deerfield Twp. location is early in its approval process. “There are a lot of things on the table,” he said.
