PNC Mortgage to give hundreds of winter survival items away through Backpack Project

For 11 years, PNC Mortgage’s Miamisburg campus has created backpacks filled with key items for winter survival.

Items donated for the backpacks include clothing items like gloves, hats and ponchos, as well as personal care products.

The backpacks are donated to Homefull, a local homeless shelter.

Last year, PNC Mortgage in Miamisburg donated nearly 800 backpacks to the people at Homefull. Since 2009, 10,387 backpacks have been distributed.

Starting at 9 a.m., the backpacks will be loaded onto a truck at 8177 Washington Church Road. The truck will take the backpacks to Homefull.
