Police: Shots fired report at Xenia bar unfounded

Xenia police arrested one person following a fight at the Round Table bar, but found no victims and no evidence of a shooting.

Officers were first dispatched to the bar at 302 Home Avenue around 11:25 p.m. on initial reports of a large fight with shots fired.

After an initial investigation, police said they didn’t find any gunshot victims, and no evidence that shots were fired during the fight.

Police said one person was arrested during the investigation for disorderly conduct.

Officers received multiple, conflicting reports of a vehicle that fled the scene, but police said there is nothing definitive.

Xenia police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred at the Round Table bar on Home Avenue Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 302 Home Avenue around 11:25 p.m. on reports of a shooting in the area.

Medics were requested to the scene, but dispatchers said police have not found any gunshot victims so far.

Initial reports indicate at least one vehicle sped away from the scene, and police have taken one person into custody.
