The drive-by shooting was reported just before 1:30 p.m. outside the Save Food Super Market on Germantown Street across from the DeSoto Bass complex in Dayton.
A 911 caller urged medics and police to come quick.
“He was shot outside the store. I just heard shots,” the caller said.
Multiple shell casings were found in the road, and police closed Germantown Street in the area as they investigated.
