Public Health’s coronavirus call center changes hours

Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County is no longer operating seven days a week.

The new hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The call center can answer general questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic for Montgomery County residents. Those who live in other counties should call their specific health department.

The call center cannot provide individual healthcare advice and does not provide COVID-19 diagnosis, testing or treatment.

Where else can I get COVID-19 information?

Dayton Children's Hospital established a COVID-19 hotline staffed from 8 a.m. to midnight at 1-888-746-KIDS (5437). If no one answers leave a message for a return call.

The Ohio Department of Health also has a coronavirus call center open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
