The Dayton VA Medical Center has asked veterans unable to make appointments because of the strike impacting the Greater Dayton RTA to call and reschedule.

The Dayton VA Medical Center tweeted a DaytonDailyNews.com story about the negotiations and included the following message: "If our Veterans cannot get to an (appointment) due to (the strike), please contact your clinic to reschedule."

Unionized bus drivers and mechanics walked off the job early Monday after failing to reach agreement with RTA.
