The Piqua City Schools have hired David Larson, current superintendent of the Covington schools in western Miami County, as the district’s new assistant superintendent.
Larson will join the district effective Aug. 1. He previously served as Covington Middle School principal, Russia schools K-12 principal and as a social studies teacher at Tippecanoe Middle School. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has a graduate degree in educational leadership from the University of Dayton.
