Semi hauling paper overturns on I-75 north of Piqua

Update@2:27 p.m.:

The semi drifted from the left lane into the right lane, then off the highway as 34,000 pounds of paper rolls the truck was hauling rolled off, witnesses said.

Two people were transported to the hospital after a crash on County Road 25-A at the entrance/exit ramp to I-75, police said. The conditions of the victims has not been release.

The right lane was shut down for a couple of hours, but reopened after 2 p.m., police said.

The semi was damaged, and it’s expected to be towed away later today, police said.

A semi-tractor trailer hauling paper overturned on I-75 south near the Shelby-Miami County line this afternoon.

The crash doesn't currently have any lanes blocked, however it's possible authorities will have to block a lane, while crews work to upright the semi, according to troopers.
NORTHERN BUREAU: Man, 51, arrested during Sidney drug search warrant

Medics and troopers were called to the crash around 12:30 p.m.

The semi was said to have rolled down an embankment, troopers said.
