UPDATE @ 12:10 p.m.: The semitrailer that hit the pole on Saint Paris Pike (state Route 41) has been stopped and the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
A crew from Ohio Edison is said to be on scene as well, to repair or replace the pole hit by the semitrailer and to re-connect the downed lines.
Saint Paris Pike remains closed between Willow Dale Road and Hominy Ridge Road, according to Clark County Sheriff's dispatch.
INITIAL REPORT
The 4300 block of Saint Paris Pike (state Route 41) in Clark County is closed after a semitrailer hits a power pole and leaves power lines all over the roadway.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office was reporting the incident about 11:20 a.m. and said the big rig was last seen headed toward Springfield.
No injuries have been reported.
Authorities have closed the roadway between Ballentine Pke and Willow Dale Road until further notice.
