Cause of Ludlow Falls house fire is under investigation, fire chief says

UPDATE @ 11:59 p.m.: The cause of the Ludlow Falls house fire is under investigation, Ludlow Falls Fire Chief Chad Allen said.

He confirmed that the occupants had gotten out safely before crews arrived to find a fully involved house fire.

The damage to the structure and contents is significant, Chief Allen said.

UPDATE @ 11:10 p.m.:

Two occupants and their dog escaped the house fire on West Monroe-Concord Road in Ludlow Falls, neighbors tell us.

Crews are still busy dealing with the fire.

INITIAL REPORT

Fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire in the 5100 block of West Monroe-Concord Road in Ludlow Falls.

Crews from Laura, Tipp City, West Milton and at least one other jurisdiction were dispatched to the fire, which was reported just after 10 p.m.

There have been no reports of injuries.

DP&L is being called because power lines at the rear of the house are about to come down, we're hearing.
