A 21-year-old man killed in a crash early this morning in Fayette County was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyler R. Wrobel, of Bloomingburg, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Danville Road in the northern part of Fayette County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Crews were called to the scene at 5:31 a.m. Investigators determined Wrobel was traveling north in a 2005 Cadillac when he lost control and went off both sides of the road before the vehicle rolled multiple times, according to the sheriff’s office.

Wrobel was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.

Not buckling up is the most common “safety-related behavior” factor among fatal crashes, according to research by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
