The chamber said in a statement released to their members that it’s donated $15,000 to the fund and encourages others to donate.
“As we have learned more about the tragic events that unfolded in our community this week, we are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss inflicted to the families involved, especially to the three young daughters,” the chamber said in a statement.

“Nothing can reverse this loss, but at a time like this we can come together to support the Heiser children who lost their mother and sister,” the chamber said. “For that reason, The Chamber is establishing the Heiser Children Scholarship Fund for the surviving girls which will be administered by Security National Bank.”
The chamber called the shooting a senseless and tragic event.

“We are all still in shock at what has rocked the very foundation of our community as well as our chamber team, and membership. We hope that the community will join us in supporting the survivors of the senseless and tragic event.”
