The Daniel Hertzler House Museum’s open house scheduled for Sunday has been canceled.
“It is with regret that the planned open house Sunday, June 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hertzler House located in George Rogers Clark Park has been canceled due to COVID-19 and the lack of qualified docents,” Barbara Arnold, president of the Hertzler House Museum said.
She added that some of the docents were unable to guide tours since “there is concern about contracting the virus reputed on the upswing.”
The Hertzler House hopes to have tours in future.
Appointments for private tours will be honored by calling 937-882-6000, Arnold said.
