Students will have a four-hour block during assigned periods from May 15 through 24 for Ohio residents within 60 miles of campus.
All other Ohio residents will be able to get their belongings between May 25 and 31 and students from outside of Ohio can get items from June 1 to June 21.
Students can visit My Housing Portal to schedule a time to pick up their belongings.
The university released the following guidelines as student collect their items:
• Only one student is permitted in a housing unit (apartment, dorm, house) at a time. They can be accompanied by two more people.
• Anyone sick with presumed coronavirus cannot return to campus until they are symptom-free without medication for 72 hours and it has been at least seven days since they began showing symptoms. Please notify Housing and Residence Life at housing@udayton.edu if you are sick and cannot make your scheduled time.

• Those who were in close contact with someone with presumed coronavirus should self-quarantine for 14 days and monitor themselves for symptoms. They may return to campus after the quarantine if they are not showing symptoms.
• Everyone must wear a face covering at all times while on campus and follow social distancing. The university will not be able to provide face coverings for you.
• Only the student and their guests are allowed on the elevator and in trash closets at one time.
• UD will provide a limited amount of blue bins for students moving out. Students will have to bring their own dolly and/or cart if needed.
• No dinning services or overnight accommodations on campus are available.
• Students should not return to campus before their previously scheduled time. The university has secured all building and will restrict door access until 15 minutes before a student’s schedule move out time. Housing and Residence Life staff will be present to verify the number of people accompanying the student.

Housing and Residence Life staff is working with others on campus so that students can get items stored in lockers and other academic units. More information will be available later.
Housing and Residence Life staff will also work with students who are unable to get their belongs during the designated time periods, who cannot return to campus, cannot return to their home residence or countries or who do not have other living arrangements. Please email housing@udayton.edu to schedule a time to discuss your living arrangement.
