Suspect flees on foot after attempted armed robbery at a Dayton Taco Bell

Deputies say the suspect, a white male, had a hood tied around his face, showed a black handgun and demanded money.

The suspect is believed to have taken off on foot.

A K9 unit responded to the scene and began a track, but it quickly ended according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Nothing was taken during the attempted armed robbery and the incident remains under investigation.
