Thursday: The morning may start with a few lingering showers north, but quickly dry out with decreasing clouds through the day. It will be a very windy day with winds that could gust up to 50 mph. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the entire Miami Valley. Driving may be difficult for some, especially those in higher profile vehicles. Winds also will increase the treat for fire danger. A small spark could lead to wildfires. Limiting any outdoor burning is advised. Sporadic power outages and tree damage also is possible. Anything that is left unsecured could blow away in these windy conditions. The winds and afternoon sunshine will push temperatures into the lower 70s. It will stay dry with a few scattered clouds Thursday night, which will be mild with lows in the middle 50s.

Saturday: Chance of scattered showers and a few storms, otherwise mostly cloudy windy and warm with highs around 70 degrees. Saturday does not appear to be a washout, as the main threat for rain likely to develop Saturday night into Sunday as a cold front and an area of low pressure moves into the region.

Sunday: Rain and a few storms are expected. Too soon to say any potential for severe weather, but with the higher soil moisture content and steady, heavy rain at times, the threat for flooding exists. It will be another windy day even outside of any thunderstorms. Highs approach 60 degrees then fall once a cold front passes.
