Winterfest at King’s Island is rolling out a new, family-friendly New Year’s Eve party. First, the elves of Tinker’s Toy Factory will give an early countdown for the little ones from 7:30-9 p.m., complete with character interactions and a giant balloon drop. Later, the Peanuts gang will provide character meet-and-greets and oversized lawn games. Winter-friendly rides will be available, a live DJ will spin modern tunes, and Snoopy and other characters will bring in the New Year at the park’s 314-foot Christmas tree, which will be turned into a giant countdown.
