No trace of mystery box parachuting into lake

Employees at Caesar Creek State Park Lake have been unable to find any evidence of a parachute with a box attached that was reported to have fallen into the lake.  The search began around 11 a.m. Thursday.  The Warren County Sheriff’s office says if there was a parachute and box it could have contained weather sensing instruments but the National Weather Service in Wilmington denies that there was any such device in the area.
