Police tell our crew the driver of that wrong-way car was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash, according to police, and one person was in each car at the time of the collision.

One person is at Miami Valley Hospital following a head-on crash on the Salem Avenue bridge in Dayton, according to dispatchers.
Dispatchers confirm the resulting car fires are out and crews are still on scene.
Traffic is currently being redirected away from the bridge, according to dispatch.

A head-on collision on the Salem Avenue bridge near downtown Dayton has police redirecting traffic in the area.
We’re hearing that any occupants have left the scene. The wreck left both vehicles on fire.
Both are described as SUVs, according to police.
The collision was reported at 9:50 p.m.
Police have called for tow trucks and are redirecting traffic away from the bridge.
