Beavercreek will be a focus for troopers this New Year’s as troopers will target high-crash areas including:
- U.S. 35 near I-675
- U.S. 35 near Trebein Road, Orchard Drive and Factory Road
- I-675 between Fairfield road an Dayton-Xenia Road.
Twenty-two people died in crashes this year in Greene County, an increase from the 11 crash-related deaths in 2016

“We’ll be targeting drunk drivers. Troopers will also be looking for people who are distracted behind the wheel or driving aggressively,” Lt. Matt Schmenk said.
