All three occupants of the Stratus were found unresponsive by Middletown medics and were revived with Narcan, according to the highway patrol. Troopers cited heroin abuse as a contributing factor in the crashes.

Josh Bilunka of ABW Automotive said a company-owned blue pickup truck was pushed between 30 and 40 feet toward the intersection of Fernwood Street. He said the pickup was totaled; it looked hunched over with its frame badly bent.
Bilunka wasn’t there when the wreck happened, but he saw the aftermath. After striking the pickup, the Stratus continued east and struck other cars parked on the automobile repair business’ lot.
“It’s sad,” Bilunka said about the wreck and prevalence of drugs in the city.
The crash remains under investigation.
