Three months ago, tornadoes devastated the Miami Valley.

Now, the community is rebuilding. Local businesses are hosting fundraisers for victims, volunteers are rebuilding homes and the Dayton Foundation has donated nearly $1 million towards disaster relief.

This morning, starting at 4:30, News Center 7’s Letitia Perry will be in Trotwood, one of the areas hit the hardest by the tornadoes. She will be talking to residents, community leaders and city officials, including Trotwood Mayor, Mary McDonald.

Letitia will give you a tour of some of the places that were struck and she will show you the progress that has been made in terms of building new homes and businesses. "Trotwood is alive and well," McDonald said. "We have new development coming."
