People came out in the thousands, struggling past road closures and security to crowd downtown Cleveland for a chance to have their voices heard during the opening day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Protesters ranged from anti-Trump demonstrators to “Cop Block” activists who wrote anti-police slogans on the road in chalk.
