Urbana police, citizens help the needy

URBANA, Ohio -- Police are working with citizens starting this week to help 100 needy families for Christmas. This program is in its third year.

A Christmas tree in the municipal building is decorated with slips of paper. Each piece represents a child or family that needs help this year. People can take a slip, buy a gift, and return it to the municipal building.

Officers will drop off the gifts just before Christmas.
