Vandalia to have pool day for dogs

Cassel Hills Pool is hosting annual Soggy Doggy Dip on Monday, Sept. 5, from 6-8 p.m. at 1061 Taylorsview Drive.

The cost is $5 per dog with a limit of two dogs per owner. Dogs must display valid license and current rabies vaccinations tags. When not in the pool, dogs must be on a 6-foot leash and accompanied by owners at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs immediately.

Dogs that are unruly, worrisome to others or aggressive will not be permitted.

Vandalia recreation officials reserve the right to deny admission for any reason. CASEY LAUGHTER
