Vehicle crashes into crane, trapping passenger

WEST CHESTER TWP. — Emergency crews are responding tonight to the scene of a crash where a vehicle struck a construction crane.

The vehicle was headed west on Tylersville Road and crashed at 2nd Street around 9:50 p.m. Dispatchers summoned West Chester Twp. police and fire departments to the scene to extricate a passenger from the vehicle.

Emergency scanner traffic indicated the life squad plans to meet up with a medical helicopter, which will transport the passenger to University Hospital in Cincinnati.
