Driver in Piqua crash in custody for suspected OVI

One person was taken into custody for suspected OVI after a one-vehicle crash in Piqua.

Piqua Police officers on the scene reported that the driver lost control of their vehicle and hit a utility pole in the 1400 block of Covington Avenue around 4:11 a.m.

The driver was not injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the Piqua Police Department.

Power outages were reported as a result of the crash.
