Driver strikes parked car in hit-and-run crash in Dayton

A driver struck a parked car and then fled the scene in the 100 block of Alaska Street in Dayton Friday.

The accident involving a black Equinox and a black BMW was dispatched about 11:47 p.m.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the BMW struck the Equinox, then the driver of the BMW took off on foot.

The impact of the crash sent the Equinox into a yard of a home.

It’s not known how many people were in the BMW.

It’s also not known if anyone was found or if any charges will be filed at this point.
