A married couple were indicted Tuesday after three men were shot and another man injured earlier this month at the Villa Tavern in Huber Heights.
Michael J. Prater, 33 is charged four counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and four counts felonious assault causing serious harm. His wife, Christina A. Prater, 31, is charged with four counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon, four counts felonious assault causing serious harm, and two counts tampering with evidence.
All felonious assault counts include three-year firearm specifications, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.
The Praters are being held at the Montgomery County Jail on $250,000 bonds each.
Police were dispatched the night of May 15 to the Villa Tavern on Rip Rap Road on a report of a shooting with four victims.
Witnesses reported that Michael Prater fired multiple rounds at a crowd listening to a live band and then fled the scene in a car driven by Christina Prater.
Three men suffered gunshot wounds, and a fourth man suffered an injury. All four were taken to local hospitals.
