Warren County Community Services, Inc. received a $1,750 grant for its participation in the 13th Annual March for Meals campaign. This year’s grants were made possible by Subaru of America Inc.
Throughout the month of March, WCCS drivers had more than 30 Community Champions ride Meals on Wheels routes in Warren County.

Morrrow-Woodville, Dallasburg closed Monday
On Monday, Morrow-Woodville Road in Harlan Twp. will be closed. The closure will be for four days between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting. The closure is between Ohio 132 and Lindley-Worley Road.
The detour will utilize Ohio 132 to Morrow-Rossburg Road to State Route 28.

Father’s Day Car Show at church
On Sunday, Southwest Church in Springboro will be hosting the 3rd Annual Father’s Day Car Show on the church property at 150 Remick Blvd in Springboro, next to Coffman YMCA. This special event is organized by the SWC Men’s Ministry.
The Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will be open to the public. Interested car owners can register the day of the show for $10. Participants will receive lunch, a T-shirt and a dash plaque, and there will be various door prizes and sponsor trophies as well.
Participants and the public are welcome to attend any of the weekend worship gatherings which includes a Saturday Worship Gathering at 5:30 p.m. and two Sunday worship gatherings at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Following each Sunday worship gathering, lunch will be provided.

Foundation recognizes 2 teachers
The Mason Schools Foundation recently recognized Western Row Elementary second-grade teacher Kelly Gholz and Mason High School Spanish teacher Amy Ortega.
Gholz was nominated by a parent, Kelly King. Ortega was nominated by student Sam Parsons.
They each received $200 mini-grants.
