Warren Co. water rescue called off, girl found safe

UPDATE @ 11:40 p.m.

According to Cincinnati media reports, a girl was swept away by a current, but was able to safely swim herself to shore.

No injuries have been reported.

FIRST REPORT

We’re hearing that a water rescue is occurring in southern Warren County, in the area of Halls Creek along Mason Morrow Millgrove Road.

The dispatch went out at 7:40 p.m. involving a 14-year-old boy who reportedly went under, according to Warren County sheriff’s dispatch.

Boats were launched, according to dispatch, and a rescue has been initiated.
