Watch ‘White Christmas,’ ‘Home Alone’ free at area movie theater

SPRINGDALE — Two Christmas classics will be showing on the big silver screen at a local movie theater.

Springdale 18: Cinema De Lux is hosting “Holiday Classics” viewings and will air “White Christmas” at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 and “Home Alone” at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.

Movies are shown for free with a donation of a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to a local food pantry.

Cinema de Lux is located at 12064 Springdale Pike in Springdale (near Tri-County). The theater has already shown “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Scrooged” and “The Santa Clause.”

On Dec. 13, the theater is hosting a special showing of “NYC Ballet The Nutcracker Live.” Bargain Tuesday pricing does not apply to the presentation, according to www.nationalamusements.com.
