Wet weather tonight hangs around Tuesday

Scattered showers will move into the region from the west this evening, enough to keep roads consistently wet, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said Monday afternoon.

The slow moving upper level system will keep the area in a wet pattern through Tuesday. Temperatures will remain in the 40s until Wednesday, when colder air will create a few flurries and drop temps into the mid-30s.

Wednesday: No accumulation expected from light flurries, but it will be breezy.

Thursday: Seasonably chilly with clouds and a little sun. High temps will settle into the mid-20s.

Friday: Temperatures move into the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies.
