Unseasonably cold temperatures are expected to rise with a nice warming trend in store for late in the weekend into next week, Randall said.
“We look out about 10 days in advance, and we don’t see a chance of frost in the foreseeable future right now,” Randall said.
Temperatures will rebound into the mid-60s today for a daytime high.
The possibility for rain showers is expected Friday and Saturday with rainfall totals to be between a tenth- and a quarter-inch each day. Showers are likely and there is a possibility for a thunderstorm before 3 p.m. on Friday.
Randall expects temperatures to be in the low to upper-70s next week with lows in the 50s.
“In the next week, I don’t see us getting this cold again,” he said.
