Daycares will be allowed to reopen beginning May 31. Following are changes that may be most noticeable to parents, though some facilities also may stagger drop-off and pick-up times to make it easier to maintain social distancing.
Child care providers must check the temperatures of all staff, children and adults. Anyone with a fever of 100 degrees or higher may not enter.
Children must wash their hands when entering the classroom.
Children must wash their hands before leaving.
One staff member per four infants with no more than six children in a room.
