With a big local focus, 1290 and 95.7 WHIO is hosting a special show, “The Moon Landing: 50 Years Ago,” on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
The show will air at 9 a.m. today; 8 p.m. Saturday; and at 11 p.m. Sunday on WHIO Radio 1290 and 95.7.
WHIO’s Program Director Jeremy Ratliff is the show’s host.
“I wanted to host a special show for the anniversary, with a focus on Neil Armstrong and his local roots,” Ratliff said. “To grab some local insight on Armstrong, I interviewed several special guests, including Dayton Daily News Editor Jim Bebbington and WHIO Radio’s Jason Michaels.”
Listen on-air on 1290 AM, 95.7 FM, in the WHIO app or online at WHIO.com.
