Woman hospitalized after entrapment crash in Dayton

One woman was taken to Miami Valley Hospital after being trapped in a single-car crash on Cornell Drive Sunday morning.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, police originally responded to a report of a two-vehicle injury crash with entrapment around 8:30 a.m.

It was reported that a white Honda and a black sedan collided, then hit a fence and a Dayton Power & Light pole.

When they arrived, police found that it was actually a single-vehicle crash, involving only the white Honda.

A woman, the driver of the Honda, had her legs trapped by the vehicle.

Emergency crews were able to extricate her from the vehicle and transported her to the hospital.
