WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Morning wintry mix, possible slick spots on most wet roads

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—A wintry mix will likely start the day across parts of the Miami Valley with temperatures early in the morning near freezing, said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

As temperatures climb in the morning, any frozen precipitation will quickly change to rain. Most roads will be mainly wet, but a few slick spots are possible early on bridges and overpasses. Temperatures will rise to near 50 degrees by early evening.

On and off rain will remain in the forecast Wednesday evening through Friday morning. Despite the soggy weather, high temperatures will climb back above average, topping out in the lower to middle 60s Thursday and Friday.
