YMCA hosting diabetes testing clinic

Dayton YMCA is hosting an opportunity for residents to have a HbA1c test, which screens participants for Type 2 diabetes. The event starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The test shows the average level of blood glucose over the past three months. Attendees must be covered by Medicare to participate in the event.
