You can get very rare Snapchat Spectacles in Dayton now (for a limited time)

The glasses are designed to make 10-second snap memories from your own perspective.

“I imagine it’s the fact we just won the #1 Family Entertainment Center in all of North America, so we are definitely a destination spot,” said Scene 75 Sales Manager Erika Ems. “It’s kind of cool that Dayton, Ohio is getting the big spotlight from people from L.A. We’ve even been getting calls from Tennessee and Kentucky – people are wanting to drive in to get these.”

All day, people have been showing up to Scene 75 at 6196 Poe Avenue for the rare and hard-to-find glasses. The bot is set up near the go-kart track toward the back of the building when you walk into the entertainment center.

“My friend in L.A. called me and said that there’s these Snapchat Spectacles here and [he had] been looking for them for months - he had me drive up to buy them for him,” said UD student Peter Giannetti. “I have no idea what they even are, but then I bought some for myself too because apparently they’re hard to get.”

The Spectacles Bot is only stationary until the product is sold out, and then it ships out into its next destination. The cost of these Spectacles are $139.41. In case you miss it today, you can find the bot by going to the website.

“They are guesstimating they'll be here until the evening,” said Ems. “They don't tell us when they’re leaving. It's kind of their secret thing.”
