The officers got out of their vehicle and went on a directed patrol.
When the officers returned to their car, they caught a man mid-stream, police said.
The man was told to zip up his pants by the officers and to put his hands on a nearby wall so they could pat him down.
The officers took the man to the North Precinct, and cited him for public urination. He was later released.
