Maui Brewing Co. beers coming to Dayton

Dayton-area beer lovers will soon be able to enjoy their first “Bikini Blonde.”

Cavalier Distributing will begin distributing the beers of Maui Brewing Co. to Dayton-area retailers today, Tuesday, July 5 in both draft and cans, Cavalier officials said Friday. Maui's flagship beers include Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, Coconut Hiwa Porter, and Pineapple Mana Wheat, and the brewery releases seasonal beers as well.

“We’ve received many requests from Midwest fans, and we are happy to be able to share our Hawaiian beer with them,” Pete Scheider, Maui Brewing’s national sales manager, said in a release. The brewery’s beers are available in 17 states and 13 other countries.

Founded in 2005, Maui Brewing Co. recently expanded their new production facility which increases capacity to nearly 100,000 barrels, and is on pace to brew 45,000 barrels in 2016.
