Miami U. Students Killed In Weekend House Fire

Investigators said Smith was found near the front door, while Turnball and Welling were found in two separate bedrooms on the second floor.

Authorities said seven other people were able to escape. They said one had to jump from a second-story window.

Fire investigators said it is believed that the fire was accidental and may have started in a first-floor recreation room.

A steady stream of students have been walking past the house, leaving flowers or notes, while others cry or console one another.
