Miller Lane restaurant closes for 4-day makeover

The O’Charley’s restaurant at 7030 Miller Lane in Butler Twp. will close today through Thursday for a renovation, and is scheduled to reopen at 11 a.m. Friday, a spokeswoman for O’Charley’s said this morning.

The restaurant’s makeover will include upgrades inside and outside, including an expanded bar area and more space for larger parties. O’Charley’s is also adding several menu items as part of the makeover, and will feature Prime Rib Lovers’ Weekend for Two, featuring two half-pound cuts of prime rib. The Butler Twp. O’Charley’s seats 272 and has 82 employees.

O’Charley’s location in Springfield underwent a similar renovation in early June, and the chain’s Miami Twp. restaurant near the Dayton Mall was refurbished in May. A location in Middletown was renovated in July 2014.

The Miller Lane restaurant will offer the first 50 guests a free “$9.99 meal” on Friday, July 17, according to an O’Charley’s news release. Doors open at 11 a.m. that day.

The renovations are part of a chain-wide revitalization plan orchestrated by O’Charley’s corporate owner, American Blue Ribbon Holdings, which acquired the restaurant chain in May 2012. The chain, based in Nashville, was founded in 1971, and operates 213 restaurants in 20 states in the Southeast and Midwest.
