MVH Expansion Means Loss Of Revenue For Fairgrounds

Expansion plans at Miami Valley Hospital could mean a hard financial hit for the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

The hospital plans to add nearly 200 parking spaces around its facility.

Our partners at the Dayton Daily News reported that the hospital has been paying $184,000 a year for 600 spaces at the fairgrounds.

The new plan means that the hospital will not renew its lease with the fairgrounds, which expires in December, ending the fairgrounds second largest source of revenue.
