Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders coming to Ohio March 13; How to go

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will attend Ohio Democratic Party’s Legacy Dinner on Sunday, March 13, just two days before the Ohio primary.

Tickets for the event are $50 - $5,000. You can get tickets here.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at the Columbus Convention Center.

It is the first announced Ohio stops for the candidates since the New Hampshire election.

“Ohio will once again be the center of the political universe in 2016, and we’re thrilled that both of our Democratic candidates will be able to address Ohio voters in person as they are heading to the polls for the presidential primary,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “Ohio Democrats helped to win the White House for President Obama twice, and we’re already building the infrastructure to send a Democrat back to the White House, help retake the U.S. Senate and boost Democratic candidates up and down the ticket this fall.”

Unlike the Republican primary in Ohio where the winner takes all of the state’s delegates, Democrats divide up the Ohio delegates.

For Democrats, 93 delegates are chosen by the votes in the state’s 16 congressional districts, 31 are at-large and 19 are pledged Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO) delegates.
