Coronavirus: Eagles offer wedding package for frontline workers at Lincoln Financial Field

The Eagles are waiving their $30,000 rental fee for weddings at Lincoln Financial Field for frontline workers and couples who had their ceremonies canceled due to the pandemic, WTXF reported. There will still be some costs involved, but nowhere near the usual amount, the television station reported.

"Anybody can go to a different venue. Not everybody gets married at the Linc," groom-to-be Kenny Hagmann told WTXF. "We can see the stadium from here."

In order to take advantage of the package, couples' wedding dates had to be scheduled through March 31, 2021, and had to have been canceled by their original venue, WPVI reported.

The on-field ceremony includes stadium seating for wedding guests and a custom image broadcast on the videoboard, the television station reported.

Couples must sign up for the reception package, which starts at $50 a head, WTXF reported. Catering is not included.

Upgraded packages are also available. A wedding at the Touchdown Club can accommodate up to 125 guests, a $65 per person. The Hyundai Club can seat 125 to 150 guests at $70 per person and 151 to 300 guests at $50 each. The Tork Club package is $70 each for 200 to 299 guest, and $50 per person for more than 300.

Normally, the fees for these packages would cost roughly $20 to $35 more per person, WTXF reported,

The Eagles and Temple University still have priority access to the stadium, so couples cannot schedule a wedding when either team is hosting a football game at the Linc.

"I was thinking, God forbid, it was wild-card weekend and the Eagles are in it," bride-to-be Jordan Long told WTXF. "Like, no one would come to our wedding. We may not even go to our wedding."
