A Louisiana driver told police they’ve been busy and that’s why they were unable to register a license plate that expired in 1997.
Slidell police pulled over a driver for the more than 20-year-old expired tag Feb. 27, officials said on social media.
“Sorry, officer, I’ve been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration,” the driver told investigators. “I will take care of it as soon as I get home.”
