Texas man shot several times during argument with woman he met on dating site

Another man, who police said heard the couple arguing, entered the apartment and attempted to get the victim to leave, KHOU reported. The neighbor then shot the man seven or eight times in the stomach, police told the television station.

The gunman fled the apartment and has not been found, KTRK reported. The woman was detained for questioning; the connection between her and the gunman was unknown, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, according to the television station.
