At about 3 p.m. on Sunday police and paramedics responded to 219 N. Wagoner St. in Wapakoneta on the report of a possible drowning. CPR was in progress.
Elijah was first taken to Lima Memorial Hospital, then to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, where he died Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11 o'clock at Harvest Baptist Church in Wapakoneta. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
Police are invesigating the incident.
